Set up salary structures once; each month is attendance in, a run processed, and the outputs sent.
Salary structures
Pay heads for earnings, deductions and employer contributions, with ready-made structures you assign by monthly gross. Change a template and everyone on it is updated from the month you pick.
Attendance and leave
Attendance from the app, with check-in and check-out by selfie and location, leave types and balances, encashment and overtime, all feeding the run.
Statutory deductions
Provident fund, ESI, professional tax by state, labour welfare fund, gratuity and bonus, with the parameters kept up to date and TDS on the chosen tax regime.
Payroll runs
Process the month, review the pay sheet, make adjustments and post the run to the books. Unpost and rerun if something changes.
Outputs
Payslips to each employee, a bank file for salary transfer, the PF ECR, the ESI return, the PT and LWF reports, quarterly TDS and Form 16.
Loans and settlements
Staff loans recovered in instalments, reimbursements paid with salary, and full and final settlements previewed, posted and paid.

CATEYE reviews your request and emails you when your organisation is ready. Sign in as its Admin, and set up two-factor sign-in the first time. Add your employees and salary structures, then run your first month.
Questions about CATEYE Payroll Manager
Does it post salaries to the accounts?
Yes. A processed run posts salary, contributions and deductions to CATEYE Accounting, or exports to Tally when you keep your books there.
Can employees see their own payslips?
Yes, in the CATEYE Finance app and the web portal, along with their tax statement, declarations and leave balances.
What if a rule changes mid-year?
Statutory parameters are dated, so a new slab or ceiling applies from the month it comes into force without touching earlier runs.
Does it handle people joining or leaving mid-month?
Yes. Salaries are pro-rated for joiners, and a full and final settlement is previewed and posted for leavers, including leave encashment and gratuity.
How do you keep our data safe?
You can choose a private workspace on our shared platform, where each organisation sees only its own data, or a dedicated installation of your own. Payroll screens are limited by role, and the employee app shows each person only their own records.
